Important Notice: Drinking Water Monitoring Requirement Not Met

Craigsville PSD is required to monitor drinking water quality regularly to ensure compliance with health standards. However, between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2024, we were unable to submit the required lead and copper sample results under the Lead & Copper Rule.

What This Means for You:

  • There is no action required from residents at this time.
  • The absence of these test results means we cannot confirm the quality of the drinking water during this period.

Next Steps:

Craigsville PSD is addressing this issue and will provide updates as needed.

Scam Alert

We’ve been alerted that some of our customers have received phone calls claiming they owe a specific amount and need to make an immediate payment. These callers suggest that they represent us but are scammers. While we do send automated messages to notify delinquent customers about their overdue balances, we never mention specific amounts in those messages.

If you receive a call that demands an exact payment amount and threatens to disconnect your service, please disregard it. It is not from us. To confirm the authenticity of any such call, please contact us at 304-742-5280, and we will verify it for you. Your security is our priority.

Alternate Payment Options During Covid-19

With concerns rising over the Coronavirus, our board members are asking our customers to use our alternate methods of paying your bills instead of coming into our office.Ways you can pay your bills:

  • Over the phone on our automated line: 1-844-719-3103. You will need your account number. If you don’t have it, please call us at 304-742-5280 and we can give it to you.
  • On our website. Please click on this link to make your payment on our website: https://craigsvillepsd.com/. Look to the lower left side, click on the Bill Pay button and follow the steps.
  • Through preauthorized payments. Once a month between the 10th and 13th, we can automatically take your payment out of your checking account. There is a form you need to fill out in order for us to do this.
  • At our drop box. The dropbox is located on the right hand side of the front door. It is a brass colored flap in the wall.
  • Through the mail. Our mailing address is PO Box 368, Craigsville, WV 26205.

Please note that there is NO CHARGE for any of these payment options.
As of now, our office is open but that can change on a moment’s notice. If you have any questions, please call us at 304-742-5280.
