Billing Process

Bills are mailed on the 25th day of the month. Customers have 20 days to pay their bill to avoid a penalty. The last day to pay to avoid the penalty is the 15th day of the following month.

A 10% penalty is assessed on delinquent payments 21 days from the billing date.

Termination Notices are mailed for any and all unpaid balances 22 days from the billing date. All accounts must be paid or payment arrangements made before the date stated on the Termination Notice.

Termination of service for unpaid accounts occurs 32 days from the billing date.

A $15.00 Reconnection Fee is charged for services disconnected for non-payment.

Water and sewer services are regulated by the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, which can be contacted by calling 1-800-344-5113.
